Growing up I always enjoyed the outdoors and was interested by the impacts of humans on our environment and how we could mitigate those impacts. After earning a B.S. and M.S. in environmental engineering I began my career as an environmental engineer where I focused on mitigating environmental impacts and implementing remediation technologies. While working as an engineer an opportunity came to teach a class at a nearby college and I was hooked.

I started at 91仓库 as an adjunct faculty teaching engineering classes and in the fall of 2019, I became a full-time faculty in physics! I am a firm believer in 鈥淭he one who does the WORK does the LEARNING!鈥� It is a phrase that my mom has repeated over and over to me and hangs on the wall of my office.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family.
