Angela Bojrab, DPM, who also is a professor in the university鈥檚 Department of Biological Sciences, serves on the board for the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP), which held its national conference June 24-27 in New Orleans.
Bojrab, along with Gregg Henderschiedt, pre-health coordinator for the University of Florida Honors Program, and Amber Charlebois, director of pre-health professions at the Rochester Institute of Technology, make up the NAAHP鈥檚 Professional Development and Leadership subcommittee.
The group was tasked with reimaging the best practices in health professions advising from an advisor鈥檚 standpoint as well as the institution.
鈥淎ll the revisions were accepted and now are posted on the NAAHP website,鈥� Bojrab said.
Founded in 1974, the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions is an inclusive, interprofessional community committed to promoting the professional growth of health professions advisors across the nation and abroad.
