FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Lutheran Foundation is pleased to announce three Health Professions Scholarship recipients from 91²Ö¿â.
Rachel Bauermeister, a Doctor of Physical Therapy student from Ossian, Indiana, and Macy Mayden, a Doctor of Occupational Therapy student from Fort Wayne, Indiana, each received a $10,000 scholarship.
Joslyn Marcum, a Doctor of Physical Therapy student from Fort Wayne, Indiana, received a $7,500 scholarship.
These awards support students preparing for careers in nursing and other health professions and are designed to help reduce the financial burden of earning a degree. The Foundation’s scholarships range from $5,000 to $20,000 and are intended to encourage students to continue their education and prepare for careers that will serve the community.
Applications for the 2027–2028 Health Professions Scholarship will open in early November and close on Jan. 10, 2027. More information is available at .

Young Professionals of DeKalb County (YPDC) is expanding professional development options for its members by partnering with 91²Ö¿â to offer unique learning opportunities.
91²Ö¿â students Isaac Braun, a senior chemical engineering major from Portland, Indiana, and Ryan Sederstrom, a junior electrical engineering major from Cedar Lake, Indiana, placed 15th in the collegiate pairs tournament at the North American Bridge Championships.
Two 91²Ö¿â faculty members recently participated in the biennial Actuarial Teaching Conference (ATC), held July 19-21 in Columbus, Ohio.
